This is the same RX12 engine but with a modified rear rear backplate that has a boost chamber that leads into the crankcase. This aftermarket engine from Yokomo was designed for the YR4-GP or YR10-GP vehicles which came with stock standard .12 engine! *This is a non-pullstart & normal threaded shaft engine (NOT SG crank style/crankshaft), suitable for the Yokomo YR-4GP touring car. It should also fit other older vintage cars or trucks utilizing the side exhaust and standard threaded crankshaft! You aren’t going to find a better matching engine for your vintage Yokomo YR-4GP/YR-10GP nitro vehicle anywhere else! *This engine sure don’t come around often as they have been discontinued so take advantage of this.
