Each measures about 8-1/4" long when closed, with a 3-1/2" long blade. Sharp for a letter opener :-) . Has painted decorations of could be a dragon or just an angry carp. Has a red tassel ended string on one end, with the advertising on the blank side. No noticed wear to the letter opener, blades may have a minor amount of tarnishing . We try very hard to protect your purchase- books and other paper items get sent in plastic sleeves or bubble wrap surrounded by cardboard, other breakable items get packing peanuts, bubble wrap, or other protection to help avoid postal damage.
