Description: This just came to me out of my mother's Native American collection and recently out of storage. It is a large Navajo, handmade, turquoise and spiny oyster cross, with a simple sterling silver loop bale at the top. The pieces of spiny oyster applied to each side are slightly different in color (shown sides shown). The cross itself measures 3 3/4" long x just under 1/2" thick x 2" total width, side to side, and the total length, including the bale is 4 1/2". The turquoise has wonderful dark matrixing running through it, as shown on both sides (not to be mistaken for cracks!). Shown on two different backgrounds.. true color is on the white background. Condition is excellent vintage, very collectible, and has no damage of any kind. A stunning piece for the collector, suitable for a man or woman, coming from a smoke free environment.
