Description: This long sea amber necklace is made from high-grade mixed natural amber beads, graduated from small chips to large. It is threaded with strong waxed thread without a clasp. The long chip-shaped amber beads are graduated from approximately 10mm x 6mm at the ends to 30mm x 10mm in the centre. The necklace is 58cm long, and can be worn by putting on over the head. As the amber chip beads are natural, there is wide variation in the beads in both structures, shape and colour. All naturally visibly included and the amber consists of butterscotch hues in egg yolk yellow, honey, white amber and gorgeous dark cherry red. Excellent condition. Circa 1980s.
