Description: This is a Napcoware Bloomer Girl from the 1950's. She is hand painted with a beautiful expressive face. She is wearing a blue dress with puffy sleeves and gold accents around the hem. Her gold shoes are peeping out from under her dress. She's in very nice condition with wear consistent with age including a tiny chip on the flower in her hair, several marks on her back and the bottom of her base. The National Potteries Corporation (Napco) was founded in Bedford, Ohio in 1938. Napco started out making decorative floral containers, but later began importing ceramic items, pottery, and glassware from Japan.
