Description: Don't like the price? Then make a reasonable offer. Up for grabs is a vintage Mylec Goalie Mask originally intended for Street Hockey. It could be used as part of a Friday the 13th costume (although it is the wrong style for that.) With the black inserts that I have in it, it also looks like Waingro's mask in the 1995 movie, Heat. So a movie fan might want it for that reason. Or just display it, as it makes for a cool piece. This is being sold as a DISPLAY ITEM only, NOT as a protective piece of equipment! Includes backplate and straps. Item is used. This (and two other vintage goalie masks that I have listed - check them out!) were displayed on a light-colored wall, thus the black plastic sheeting in the eye and vent holes of the mask. The plastic sheeting is held in place with clear plastic tape and can be easily removed. I left the sheeting in place in the event that the buyer would display the mask. There are also zip ties, which can be removed, that are still attached to the mask, for hanging purposes. AGAIN - This is being sold as a DISPLAY ITEM only, NOT as a protective piece of equipment! This mask is used, not new. All the parts are intact and there is NO cracking to the mask. There are some light marks/scratches to the item, but when hung on a wall, the item still displays nicely. This hung on a wall that had sunlight hitting it, so there is slight yellowing (more like a light cream color) to the mask, but NOT to the backplate plastic, since that was not part of the display. See first photo for color difference in the mask and the backplate. Yellowing caused by sunlight, NOT cigarette smoke. Mask measures nearly 11.5 inches high by nearly 8 inches wide. Mask will SHIP IN A BOX TO PROTECT IT, thus the higher shipping charge. Payment is due within three days of invoice or auction's end. Will ship to a U.S. address only!
