Description: For sale is a beautiful, vintage Cartier Vendrome watch. My wife owned this watch for several years but really gravitated towards the Tank instead of the Vendrome, so this watch has sat on a shelf for several years. The strap was old and fell apart when we took it out again, so the strap shown was "customized" by me to fit the notch-style Vendrome case. It's truly just for show, as my wife wanted to see if she wanted to keep this watch or not - turns out she wants to stick with the Tank. Condition: Watch is in working, ticking, condition. Face has been repainted since the old face started to show cracking/other imperfections. Watch casing shows moderate wear and tear. One of the screws on the back plate of the casing is non-OEM, please see photos. Strap needs to be replaced asap and is just for show - the old strap fell apart and this was a temporary solution. If you go the authentic route it will run you a couple hundred dollars. My wife and I were considering getting a custom made strap from a watch on Etsy for about $100, but decided against since this watch didn't get enough wrist time despite how beautiful it is. This watch was inspected and serviced by Marcello Watches & Repair in San Francisco about a month ago. I do not have the original papers or box - this sale is truly just for the watch and the strap.
