Description: Vintage Suntour Skitter Rear Dérailleur from 1972 - for Multi Speed Stingray Muscle Bikes Vintage Suntour Skitter Rear Dérailleur made in Japan by Suntour / SR / Maeda LTD.. This Unique Derailleur introduced in mid 1960s and I think this is the 4th version and this one dates 1972. This Unique Derailleur Model 1000 was for 5 Speed Banana Seat Muscle bikes. Derailleur has a 28 tooth max capacity and can cover a 5 speed 3/32" chain freewheel. Part is used, shows wear, could use a cleaning & detail, I do not think the mounting plate bolt is original.
