Description: Vintage 1940's to 1960's hanging swag lamp by Carl Falkenstein. The 8" white milk glass globe has normal production irregularities - ripples, dents, mold lines and bubbles, but no cracks, chips, scratches nor stains. The opening outer rim is 4". Suspect it's a newer replacement as research shows this model originally with clear glass. As found. The metal part is a rich old brass color, some dust and oxidation spots but no crusty corrosion. No cracks or distortion. Embossed on the top is "Falkenstein 4090". Three screws hold the globe securely. Tested - light and switch working as they're meant to. The chain is equally dusty, darkened and oxidized with age and measures about 10 feet, the cord is over 15 feet with the in-line switch 20" from the plug end. From smoke-free storage.
