Description: Vintage Christmas Greetings 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" postcard looks like it could be printed from around the turn of the Twentieth century up to the Nineteen Twenties, depicting an alpine landscape covered in snow with a house in a copse of blue green fir trees and a skier sliding down the hill in the foreground. The sky above is rendered in reds, whites, yellows and blues, but the red ink has faded to an orangey pink. The upper left corner features a poem, "Christmas greeting fond and true, Where o'er the world you roam, From one who always thinks of you, At your dear old home, sweet home." In the lower left-hand corner is the legend "Merry Christmas" in a blackhand calligraphic lettering, printed in fading red (now orange). In acceptable used condition, it has not been inscribed or posted, but has staining, creases, paper loss, and fading or discolored ink. Add this vintage postcard to your collection today!
