Description: vintage dinner plate made by Mayer & Sherratt, England and sold under the trade name "Melba". This bone china plate has a scalloped edge with a pale blue rim with gold tone floral design. The center of the plate features a brightly colored pair of parakeet birds. The plate measures approximately 10 1/4 inches across. There are no chips or cracks and no staining on this plate. Excellent condition- lightly used on the bottom of plate.
