Vintage MEI Mountain Equipment-Day pack travel pack backpack

Description: This is a great medium sized pack for day hikes. It fits like a waist fanny pack but larger and nylon shoulder straps for extra support. It has padded waist belt with center stiffened support and padding on the back for extra comfort and extra large clip fastener. It has 2 fully lined pockets with zip closures and 2 side pockets for water bottles or smaller items with elastic closures. All the straps are adjustable and the pack is made from superior quality cordura. This model of pack is special and harder to find now I suspect because people that have them don't want to give them up. I'm just done with my hiking days... This pack is in great condition being almost new. I only used it on a couple of day hikes. It has no rips, tears or holes. All zippers are functional and seams are intact. If you are not familiar with MEI they were a company based in Fresno CA that served the hiking and climbing communities. A local favorite that produced exceptional products. They were most popular for their packs. You can look them up and you will see that even now their products are in used and in demand. You won't go wrong with this pack. This pack would be great for travel or school. There are shoulder straps but they are not padded. The pack is intended to be a waist pack. The straps are just if you get too much weight in the bag or stuff it really full!
