Volume dial makes a loud static sound when being turned. I could not get the record player to cycle properly. I am not sure if I am switching it on properly. When I manually place the tone arm on a record and spun the platter, it has great and clear sound. The rubber material on the top of the turntable platter needs replaced. It measures 40" width by 28 1/2" in height by 15 1/2" in depth. Please examine pictures for condition.
