Description: A rare find! A MCM (Mid-Century-Modern) Danish-Styled lamp. It appears o be made from teakwood and has a walnut stain on it. It's in good condition with no cracks in the wood. One of the the glass shades does have a crack at the top that's been repaired with glue. The rest of the lamp is in good original condition, with some patina to the metal arms of the lamp. The base has 3 small original manufacturer holes around the middle round brass decorative "button." These holes were originally for 3 plastic ivy vines that came with these lamps. There is one picture with replacement silk vines that the orig. owner replaced at one point. I took them off and will include them in the listing if you wish, but I believe that they distract from the beauty of the lamp, and so I have not put them back on after photographing the lamp. The switch on this lamp allows for each light to be illuminated separately, or have all three of them on at the same time (see pictures). So you can have just the top lit at one time, or the bottom two lit, or all 3. The switch is located on the side of the base and the orig. switch has been replaced with an orange cap switch at one point (see pictures). The lights have a lovely yellow glow to them, as the lamp is equipped with incandescent bulbs, that come with this purchase, as those were the bulbs avail. at the time this lamp would have been manufactured. One of the best features of this lamp is it's ability to look so different when you view it from different angels! Measurements: 38-1/2" high x 15" across. The round base is 10 in diameter x approx.1-3/4" thick at it's highest point, as it's tapered from thin to thick in the middle. I'm always happy to answer questions, so please feel free to ask them.
