Description: Good Condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. The designs and lettering are intact and the color is strong and bright. Smooth glossy finish! This little plate or trinket tray is marked on the back with a shield with the words Alex Wishnew Wheeling West Virginia Decorated Ceramics inside it. This little plate measures 3 3/8 inches or 8.5725 cm in diameter. This tiny ceramic plate was made before 1959, when the assets of Progressive Ceramics Company, of which Alex Wishnew was president until his death in 1955, were sold off. This is a true Mid-Century Modern masterpiece! The center of the plate depicts The Hermitage Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of President Andrew Jackson. The tiny details of this souvenir are so sharp! What a fun little piece to display! The pictures in this listing are my own pictures and that is the actual item you will get. I don't steal other people's pictures or use stock photos. I store my items in sealed bins with charcoal to eliminate odors. We do combine shipping for multiple orders! Please let us know if you are selecting multiple listings! We don't do partial refunds. If the item is not 100% satisfactory to you, return it for a refund. Partial refunds are a common scamming technique on eBay so sellers are advised not to give them. We also do videos documenting our packaging the items as that provides the post office proof we shipped the items. They require proof for mail fraud when people switch out the item and send back something else, stuff like that. We also don't do second chance offers so if you get one on one of our items, it is not from us! We don't want anyone to get scammed!
