Description: Vintage Prewar Manton & Smith Ballooner Bicycle Chain Guard ( Your Choice from the Menu ) This is a Multi Choice auction for a Used Vintage Chainguard or New Chainguard Hardware Pack. Your Selection from the menu. This Chainguard is off a Vintage Prewar Manton & Smith Co. Bike. I have seen these used on Shelby Bicycles too. I am unsure if it's Original Manton & Smith or After market or both as some manufacturers used after market guards on there bikes. Guard is Approximately 20" long and pretty sure it is for 26" wheel bike. Chainguard is Used, has Patina, may have rust & dents, may be Rat Rod Style, comes as your selection shows, could use a cleaning and some massaging. The Guard is missing original hardware, We offer a New Prewar Style Chainguard hardware Kit as an Add on. The Kit provides hardware for one Chainguard. The Kit comes with a Zinc Finish or Raw Patina Finish. The Raw Patina Hardware is stripped and will rust and and has different hardware. The Chainguard Hardware Kit provides some useful extra parts but doesn't work perfectly with all chainguards.
