Bonwit Teller was founded in 1895 in New York. In 1897 Edmund Teller joined the partnership. They filed for bankruptcy in 2000. So this was made any time between 1897 to 2000. Bonwit specialized in high-end women's apparel at a time when many of its competitors were diversifying their product lines, and Bonwit Teller became noted within the trade for the quality of its merchandise as well as the above-average salaries paid to both buyers and executives. there are no chips or cracks. it measures approx. 6 1/4" across and 1/2" tall. it is marked on the back.
