Description: Cherry Ames NovelsArmy Nurse: The dust jacket has a mylar cover. There is a bookplate on the front free endpaper toward the bottom. Some greenish staining on the front and back endpapers along the top and on the inner top of the dust jacket. The greenish coloring of the top horizontal textblock has lighter splotches. The dust jacket is intact except at the very top of the spine where the majority of "Cherry" is missing. The dust jacket also has folds on the top outer corner of the front cover. Yellowing of the pages. Cruise Nurse: On the front cover the dust jacket has a missing piece on the top with the r and y of Cherry missing. Small tear and folds are noted on the dust jacket. The front endpaper has a bookplate at the bottom and at the top there is a price written in pencil and other numbers and letters. At Spencer: Dust jacket intact with small tears. Bookplate on the front free endpaper near the bottom and there is a price in pencil and some other numbers and letters at the top. Light bumping at spine extremes. Fraying on the bottom of the back cover. Front cover has a slight bow outward. Senior Nurse: Large tear and numerous folds on the back cover dust jacket and a missing piece near the spine. On the top of the spine, the dust jacket is torn and folded. The dust jacket is torn at the fold of the outer front cover where is hinges into the inside of the book. Also a few folds are present. A bookplate is present at the bottom of the front free endpaper and, at the top, prices in pencil. A gift inscription in ink is at the top, next to the prices. Bluish staining on the inside dust jacket front and back. The greenish coloring of the horizontal textblock has bled into the vertical textblock at the top. Bumping noted on both outer bottom corners. Poliklinikskoterska (clinic nurse): a foreign language hardcover edition of Cherry Ames. Printed in Sweden 1961. No dust jacket but there is an illustration on the front cover with book descriptions on the back. The front free endpaper is inscribed with a name in ink. Pages are yellowed. There is fraying of the surface on the hinge between the back cover and the spine. The top of the spine is intact but there appears to be a tear. There is another tear at the hinge between the front cover and the spine of 0.7 cm. Scratches noted on the top of the back cover. Cocked spine. Cracked spine noted on page 127 toward end of book.
