Mary Angela’s Best Of Everything – Authored by Mary Angela Morgan and signed (autographed) by her on the title page. The author lived in Richmond, Virgina, at the time, and taught cooking classes. The recipes appear to be all hers, although she does mention adapting some from recipes she collected over the years. Printed in 2004 (1st printing). Hardback, spiral bound, fully indexed, has a few color phots, and contains 434 pages. Appears to be self-published and appears to contain over 400 recipes. 2.) Charleston Receipts Repeats. Printed in 2002 (9th printing). Hardback, spiral bound, fully indexed, and contains 380 pages. The recipes were compiled by the Junior League of Charleston, South Carolina and was originally printed in 1986. The book states that it contains over 600 recipes. 3.) Simply Sensational Cookbook. Printed in 1986 (1st printing). Hardback, spiral bound, fully indexed, and contains 526 pages. The recipes were compiled by the Auxiliary (TWIGS) of the Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. It appears to me that this book contains over 400 recipes. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of these items. Any obvious defects are mentioned above in the individual book descriptions. Otherwise, there are only some light signs of age-related use or wear to the edges and corners and some light signs of shelf wear and edge wear to the covers. There are no tears, no markings, or stains to any of the pages and the books are all tightly bound, with no missing pages – see my photos. Please keep in mind these photos may be blown up at least 8-10 times normal, so anything you see will look 8-10 times larger in the photos than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos, it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece.
