Description: This is a very nice Lone Star (sometimes also known as Star of Bethlehem) estimated to be from the 1930s or 1940s. The diamonds making up the center star is a dusty blue, while the rest are prints and solid colors from the 1940s. The hand quilting on the yellow portions is done in a beautiful Baptist Fan design. There is little to no batting or very thin batting, so this quilt is thin and more of a summer quilt. The back is also yellow. There is something like a stain or old paint on two corners of the back. They are faint, but I really have no idea what they are or how to remove them. They do not appear on the front. Measures approximately 94x87 and shown on an 80x60 queen bed.
