Description: This is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous vintage late 1970s dark black draped knit disco era ballet wrap cocktail dress in size M/L. This original Susan Roselli for Vijack piece exudes retro charm with its wrap style and large shoulder pads, very much in a 1940s style. The dress features a chest size of approximately 39", waist size of 30", hip size of 40", and measures 45.5" from shoulder to hem. Perfect for a cocktail party or a night out, this classic black dress captures the essence of 1970s fashion with a touch of disco flair. It entirely closes with buttons, loops and snaps, and features a very beautiful silver beaded detail atop the hip swag feature. The seams are not serged inside. It is in beautiful vintage condition! It was very difficult to measure because of all the swagged fabric in front and back. It is tagged a vintage 11/12, I would guess it to be more of an 8 or 10 in current North American clothing sizes. Made in the United States, this unique piece is sure to make a statement in any vintage lover's wardrobe. Painting not included in this auction.
