Description: Beautiful antique laboratory/apothecary metric weight set. My by the Empire Laboratory Supply Company of New York. Solid wood box contains 8 chromed weights and 3 fractional weights. Box measures 4" long x 2 1/8" deep x 1 1/2" tall. Brass weights are 50gm, 1 x 20gm, 2 x 10gm, 5gm, 2 x 2gm, and one gram. Also includes a pair of tweezers. Box was cleaned and refinished with MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Felt pads on bottom for easier handling.
