Description: The tang stamp " Kutmaster " has been a trademark used by Utica Cutlery since 1937. The knife is 3 3/8 inches long when closed. This one has " KUTMASTER UTICA N.Y. U.S.A. T-1 " with " R-2 " on the pile side. Kutmaster knives are still produced, but nothing that would look like the one posted here. The knife has typical scratches from use. It looks clean between the liners. I did not find any splits or cracks in the scales, but there is a darker area where a label had been on it for a long time. It feels like the moderate snap is soft at close on the two blades. Please study photos they are part of the description.
