Description: Check back often. I will be listings hundreds of toy train items {1900-1999} over the next year Description: Just pulled from 40+ years of climate controlled storage. Looks to be New, general comments follow: -Locomotive: Tested, Runs/Headlight illuminates (see photo). No breaks/defects or even signs of play use observed.-Radar Car: Original antennae along with original (now discolored) shipping tape remains (was factory taped to dish, but age has loosened tape up). Tested for operation, dish rotates as car travels down track. No breaks/defects observed.-Missile Car: Original rocket in place. 2 of the rear fins have a notch in the end of them and 2 do not. Not sure if factory cast this way or if the 2 with notches have the remains of the casting process still attached and were meant to be removed? (see may photo's provided). Part of the "N &Y" in NAVY is worn off in 1 place on the rocket (see photo). The car itself has (2) cradles that support the rocket. These cradles have a small plastic pin cast into them to lock rocket into cradle during transport. When I removed rocket from cradle, 1 of the pins started to shear a little and the pin became loose (but still attached). I placed a small spot glue drop to re-secure this very tiny pin (see last photo, virtually undetectable). -Caboose: No breaks observed. Light scuff or the like noted on 1 portion of roof (see photo closeup). May polish out.-Box: VG overall. A little wear as noted in second to last photo (#23). Includes instructions as shown & auxiliary box containing un-coupler and lockon/wires (photo). Includes (12) Curve track & (2) Straight along with Transformer (tested- Good). I will probably ship this in 2 different boxes (at my expense). There are a lot of delicate components here and I think packing up the engine and rolling stock into seperate box will reduce the chance of damage.
