Description: Vintage / Antique Korean Eunjangdo Ornamental Knife. It measures a touch under 8" in length, jade handle and sheath, the blade is 3-1/4", with the sheath it weighs 4.7 ounces. Looking online I found this same knife is in the National Folk Museum of Korea (no information on who made it), I also found a knife discussion forum that says "For the Korean aristocracy and gentry, Eunjangdo was a symbol of loyalty and devotion to Confucian ideals", I think these knives were worn under clothing by women to protect their honor. What is pictured is what you get so if you don't see it in the photos it is not included. If you have any questions please ask before you bid or purchase this item and I will answer them promptly.
