Vintage Kitsch Ceramic Mouse Swiss Cheese Salt Pepper Shaker Set Japan

Description: Vintage Kitsch Ceramic Mouse Swiss Cheese Salt Pepper Shaker Set Japan Two-piece ceramic salt and pepper shaker set in the shape/form of a mouse and wedge of swiss cheese. The mouse sits inside the cheese until you are ready for some salt and then he lifts right out! Probably from the 40's, 50's era and made in Japan. Need a good cleaning. I have wiped them down but am always afraid to scrub too hard and rub off the paint. Measure about 4" x 2 1/2" x 2 7/8". Red and gold Made in Japan labels. Have been used and the mouse has small chips on edge of ears and a manufacturer mark on the back of his ear, but still in nice condition.
