This elegant Kissaka necklace is Vintage...the company owner lost the trademark in 1997...but the name was know for quality jewelry. What I know of the Kissaka name is that the 'pearls' are not cultured or real...although they retain their lustre better than real pearls! They are being described in different ways online...much of it are blatant lies. Many are calling the pearls 'glass'...I don't know what they are made of but there is no flaking or loss of finish. The 'pearls' in this necklace and bracelet measure 14mm...which is large but not gaudy size...and are combined with real glass Aurora Borealis beads as well as opaque milky and clear beads and clear oval resin beads within a silvertone 'frame' and have occasional rhinestone rhondelle spacers. The necklace ends with classic silvertone adjustable links and a lobster clasp. A logo goldtone 'tag' dangles at the end. The bracelet has a combination of the same beads/'pearls' and has a stretch styling + the Kissaka tag. This fabulous necklace and bracelet set is in like new condition.
