Description: Vintage Ken Davis Original Etching Or Engraving Print 1972 Boys Sitting On Fence This vintage 1972 print appears to be either an original engraving or etching and depicts two pre-teen or teenage boys sitting on a fence in front of a dark black amorphic background shape. It is signed Ken Davis but I wasn't able to find anything online. I think the print is likely meant to make a statement regarding the Vietnam War based upon the title and the boy on the right having what appears to be a peace symbol on his upper right shoulder however I cannot confirm or guarantee. Will make a great addition to your printmaking collection and will blend perfectly in collections ranging from Midwestern originals to Mid Century and more. It does have wear including heavy yellowing & discoloring from not being framed/matted with acid free materials, fading and MORE so PLEASE read complete details below and review photos closely for condition. ITEM DETAILS: Measures approximately 10.25" x 12" Condition: In vintage pre-owned condition with wear including the paper is not cut/torn at a square angle with rough edges, the paper has yellowed and has brown stains around the edges, fading, smudges, fingerprints, the paper has roughly torn edges, the borders/margins are uneven, there are fine abrasions on the surface, ink voids, dirt, dust, grime, stains, dents, soft corners, fraying paper edges, dark spot on the surface of the paper, the back side of the paper is quite discolored/yellowed, the paper directly inside the printing plate impression is a lighter color due to fading (the original matting overlapped the plate impression) and overall wear from age and handling.
