JORGEN JENSEN (1895 - 1966) Jorgen Jensen was Georg Jensen's second son and also a silversmith. He trained with the German goldsmith Leonhard Ebert and studied at the City School of Arts and Crafts in Munich. He then trained at the Georg Jensen silversmithy and was a member of the company from 1917 to 1923. There after, until 1936 he owned his own workshop in Stockholm but rejoined Georg Jensen in 1936 and worked as a silversmith there until 1962. He designed jewelry and hollowware and his pieces show an evolution from the early forms that are reminiscent of Johan Rohde to straighter lines and less ornamentation more closely resembling Sigvaard Bernadotte's work. His work has been exhibited widely in Europe and North America.
