Description: Vintage JB Hirsch The Cellist Sculpture Music Box With Bow That Plays Music From 1932 With JBH Foundry Mark Ivorine Head Metal Figurine and Base With Floral Detail What a wonderful piece - a perfect addition to your collection or home decor. It is of a master playing the cello while sitting on a bench with a copyright of 1932 J RVHL. This particular figure was created by John Ruhl for the Hirsch foundry. Incredibly rare to find any of Hirsch's Cellists WITH THE BOW! This JB Hirsch music box's base is 5" wide, 7" long and 2 1/4" high. The figurine is 5 1/2" high, 4" wide and 2 1/2" deep. It is 7 1/2" high over all. Given the age (from 1932) this piece is in excellent vintage condition - the music box works, no scratches, chips or marks. Please look closely at the pictures as they ARE the description! As always, feel free to contact me for more information!
