It has a 27" solid brass strap drop (optional - strap was made to be tucked inside the bag if person wants to carry it as a clutch) , and the strap and the bag itself are flawless! There is not a loose thread, exterior or interior mark on the item. There is NO wear on the bag, it is 100% FLAWLESS!! Inside it is a black leather lining with one small zippered pocket. The label sewn onto the pocket is the original Jay Herbert New York label. The top click up closure is in excellent working condition and is not loose and works perfectly. This vintage brass and red quilted Jay Herbert crossbody/clutch handbag is framed bag that is almost an octagon shape and measures as follows:: 7" High, 8" Wide at it's widest point, 5" wide on top, is just over 2.5" deep (from front to back) and has an optional 27" solid brass strap drop.
