There is an overall dark patina with traces of copper color showing through. It also has traces of a gilt surface on the side and base (see photos) The cover has a raised finely detailed decoration of a peacock, the side has cranes flying over waves. There is a lozenge shaped mark on the base that I have not identified (see photo) Size: Measures 4 ½ in. diameter x 1 ⅝ in. high. It weighs 1 lb., shipping weight will be 2 lbs. Condition: The close-up photos show the condition details well. Good pre-owned condition, overall surface wear, a few spots of roughness (very small breaks) along the interior rim and a few spots of pitting in the interior.
