Description: I absolutely LOVE what is unusual, or things I have never seen before. I have owned this case for over 20 years and have enjoyed it during that time... without really knowing anything about it. I like the look! As near as I can tell this case was presented to someone as a gift from some person and/or club related to the YOKOHAMA COLLEGE... or maybe it's the YOKOHAMA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE. I used Google translate to try to understand this better, with mixed results. According to Translate, the first line is either 'Gift Suzuki' or 'Presented By Suzuki'. The second line is possibly Yokohama College', or 'Yokohama School of Medicine'. The last line may be 'Kyudo Club' or 'Ludo Department'. The bottom line is, I don't know. ALSO, I do not know what the gold material is on the inside. It almost seems like a paint of some sort. There are symbols on the front that are not understood by me at all. I don't know the age of the case, but I would guess that it is 70 years old. SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS! I HAVE NEVER REMOVED ANY OF THE CIGARETTES. PERHAPS THERE'S MORE INFORMATION UNDER THEM. THE REALITY IS THIS... If you are looking at this piece, you know much more about it than I do. The cigarettes, and the total look is what I like. It's hard to part with, but it needs to find a more appreciative home. I've been a proper and grateful steward, but someone will enjoy it even more than I do. What you see is what you get (other than my ruler). Contact me with any questions at all and I will do my best to answer them. On request, I guess I could remove the cigarettes to look under them.
