Description: A lovely hand crafted purple porcelain Yuhuchungping shape vase from the Japanese Showa era (1926 - 1989) in excellent vintage condition and as seen in the pics. This marvelous Japanese Showa dynasty, dark blue/purple glaze hand crafted vase is tipped in yellow gold on the lip as well as at the base. The vase measure approximately 10 in. x 3 in. and underneath the base is a rare blue under glaze yu dedication inscription and date: “Wedding keepsake, Komata Shinichi, May 30. Showa 39th Year (1964). We may not know the artist name but this wonderful hand crafted vase will display nicely any where in the home and make a great conversation piece.
