Jules Cannert (1890-1954) was a Romanian born artist who developed a reputation for romantic pastel portraits of glamorous Hollywood stars. True Story was an American magazine that was first published in 1919. It carried the subtitle "Truth is stranger than fiction". This August 1930s cover is approximately 8.5" x 11.5" in overall size and is in fair condition. There is paper loss in the lower left corner, creases and small tears.
