Description: Vintage Inuit Alaska Eskimo Yupik Native Doll Male Fur Hide Leather Beaded Felt 10” Condition:This is a vintage Native Inuit Alaskan Eskimo doll. I do not know the exact history of this lovely, hand-crafted doll but it has a handwritten tag attached that says Tetpon on one side and Peri 6-29-66 with what I believe is the signature "Peri". I think that may be the name of the artist, but I am not certain. I believe it was given to a missionary couple who were serving at the time. It is made of real fur with a hand-carved dark wood face. his complexion is a medium brown. He is dressed in fur from his head to his toes. There are some felt trim on his coat and gloves. He measures 12" tall. He is in excellent condition. Please see the photos for specifics on the condition of this native Alaskan Eskimo or Inuit doll.
