Description: This vintage Indiana Glass footed compote is a stunning addition to any collection. The iridescent finish on the green glass and lotus blossom pattern make it a unique piece that is sure to catch the eye. Crafted in Dunkirk, Indiana, during the 1970s, this original piece is made of high-quality glass and weighs 1 pound and 12.3 ounces. The iridescence is in superb condition, with significant reflection of the color spectrum. The compote is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. As with pressed glass, there can be slight variations. On this compote, it has a unique little extra glass along one seam, at the top. There is also a pressed mark on the underside of the base where the compote rested as it was cooling. (See close up pictures for both of these areas.)
