Description: Vintage Imperial Good Companion 5 Typewriter In Case - Spares Or Repair This sale is for the Vintage Imperial Typewriter which I believe is the Good Companion 5 and made in the UK. Typewriter comes in the original Case. ***PLEASE NOTE: Spares Or Repair no returns for this item*** The typewriter is in fair visual condition. All of the keys, buttons and paper advance lever work as does the bell. The issue with the typewriter is that the carriage does not move when typing. It moves freely otherwise but I can see that the cable is loose so is an issue with the mechanical drive. There is rust at the end of the carriage wheel. The case is also tatty as can be seen in the pictures. No key but the lock is open so the lid can be used. This weighs unpackaged 7.914kg Please see the pictures. Posted through tracked courier.
