Description: An elegant and unique clear covered butter dish in the Candlewick pattern made by Imperial Glass. It was inspired by French Cannonball glass and designed with glass beads on the handles and the rim. The lid has a beaded pattern on top with a graduated design. The dish measures approximately 7 1/4" long, 3" wide and 2 5/8" high. It's in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks. Imperial’s Candlewick pattern was formally introduced in 1936 and it proved to be one of its strongest selling patterns. The Imperial Glass Company was located in Bellaire, Ohio and closed in 1984. The Candlewick pattern was made between 1936 and 1984.
