Description: On the block: One (1) vintage I'M AFRAID TO GO HOME IN THE DARK promotional souvenir pinback button. It measures approx 1.25 inches from side to side and features an off white background with blue lettering. Along the edge curl, in white, is : "EHRMAN MFG. CO. BOSTON.". Older collet and shell construction with spring pin. No date. In good used condition with minimal marks commensurate of a 90+ year old button. No large scratches, creases or image loss. There is a loss of brightness and foxing in the white background as well as the button itself is very flat and it should be arched. Great color and printing. Darkening from handling/age on the back. See pics. We have seen a date as early as 1908 (which was based on a popular song) to as late as 1930 (which was a film short). The insert paper (if there was one) is missing.
