Description: For your consideration is an Illinois Watch Co. Model 4, Grade 175, 16-size, 17-jewel, adjusted, lever-set pocket watch that has been beautifully reconfigured in a wristwatch case. The watch has just been fully serviced, including a deep clean, lubrication, and adjustment The dial on this watch is a gorgeous enamel double-sunk dial, with gothic-script hour figures and red minute figures. There is one repaired spot on the dial edge between 4 and 5 (see photos) but this is covered by the bezel so it can’t be seen except when you’re setting the watch. The gold-plated CWCCo wristwatch case features an exhibition caseback to view the beautifully-finished Illinois movement. The case is in good condition, with just a few minor signs of wear (see photos). The case is on a brand-new brown leather strap with a matching gold-plated buckle. The strap also has quick-release spring bars should you choose to change it out. The watch was just serviced and is keeping great time, but keep in mind this watch is one hundred and twenty-three years old - as such it is being sold AS IS. Shipping to continental US only.
