Vintage IBM Laptop Computer ThinkPad 385CD Type 2635 Powers On Screen work PARTS

Description: Laptop For parts or repair - Vintage IBM laptop computer. ThinkPad 385CD, type 2635. Powers ON, screen works. Can't get it to enter BIOS setup, so don't know if it even has a hard drive or memory installed. Displays the time setting screen, and an error screen showing codes for the CMOS backup battery. Will also show various numbered error codes if you hold a keyboard key down during power-up, so I assume that the keyboard is probably functional. Don't know about the built-in trackpad / mouse thing. The screen shows some uneven brightness / blotchyness - particularly when showing a plain black screen. The battery DOES NOT take a charge. There is NO power supply included. I used one from another laptop to test it. Has a CD drive. Can hear it spin up when a disc is inserted.
