Description: BEAUTIFUL vintage Hudson Bay four point blanket coat. Six abalone buttons decorate the front, with a seventh button at the collar for frigid days. Two side inset pockets. Structurally, the lining, seams, pockets, and button holes are ALL 100% intact, except one button has a small chip-see photo. READ BELOW FOR FABRIC FLAWS. SIZE: exact size is not known, as that tag is not present. In the 1960s to 1970s, this was likely a woman's large coat, but seller estimated it to be a medium by today's standards, and would likely be best suited to a woman of average height. Seller is female, 5' 9", athletic build--the coat is slightly tight through the shoulders, and the sleeves are too short, but it buttons easily. SEE PHOTOS. There is some mild wear to the wool fibers on the front edge of the coat near the buttons, and on the outer edge of the pockets. There are discrete areas of insect/moth damage, the largest of which are on the left lower front. There are 5 or 6 other spots about the size of a pencil eraser, as well as 20-30 very small areas of damage. NONE of this damage extends through the sub-fibers of the coat-no actual holes are present. Photos capture the worst areas of damage, but not all of the tiny areas.
