Description: This is a unique vintage chess set (pieces and board) depicting the Catholic hierarchy. Hand painted. Comes with the original wood Japanese hinged board, which has every other square engraved using a pyropen. Made in Japan. The board is 15 3/4 x 15 3/4. Edge of board shows slight wear, but overall excellent condition! The tallest piece is 4 inches and the smallest is 2 inches.Even has original cardboard boxes for pieces in good condition.
