Aesthetically, this is a very clean unit, the boombox is free from paint splatters, cigarette burns, or odors, or graffiti. Its been well cared for. It is missing 3 slider selector switches. (see photos) please ask questions before buying as it is shown as is! Cosmetically this unit is in good condition light scratches, small dent, bottom left speaker I've replaced antennae. FF, REV, REW, REC, PLAY, EJECT PAUSE keys all work when depressed and released Battery compartment is clean. Timer standby switch is broken and missing. Please note * this model is a TRK 8290E! "E" means this unit although made in Japan, it is built for 220/240 volt current. 1) it can be operated with the 9 cell batteries. 2) you can use a 110/220 step- up- step -down voltage converter. 3) there are numerous YouTube videos that also tell you how to convert this to 110 current. 4) you can upgrade, with a rechargeable battery pak. It comes with cord. *Warning * You cannot just plug the unit into 110/120 home current you will damage the unit! Your boombox will be packed with great care and insurance is added to the value at sale time. Radio bands work Tuner knob is smooth. Ask questions before sale, I do not accept returns. This is really in good condition for the age of the boombox.
