Despite now being nearly 40 years old, it's still in great shape and works without issue. As noted in the Condition Description, the tip slides right off (though this doesn't appear to impact use). As I'm not familiar with these models, I don't know if it should lock into place or not. It otherwise looks excellent for its age with few other signs of wear and tear.
