Description: This is one of the original, highly-regarded, "Made in the U.S.A." Scott receivers. Original owner, purchased circa August 1972 at MusiCraft in Lombard, Illinois. This Scott 357B is all original and still working. I've had newer and "fancier" receivers in the years since, but this one has outlasted them all and keeps on ticking. Copied from someone else's online listing in recent years:"Roughly 30 clear watts per channel, the equivalent of over 100 watts in today's inflated ratings. It sounds much like a Marantz 2230. Features are bass, treble, balance, loudness compensation, tape monitor, and headphone jack. Two sets of speakers can be used.The magnetic phono amp sounds excellent, warm, clear, and detailed. If there is one reason to buy this it is to use this input.This Scott 357 is one of the last units to resemble the tube era in its construction."
