Description: Vintage old very heavy open wooden box crate Felixstowe / India My ref 13ta In clearly well-used vintage condition. Rough-sawn wood, very heavy. Rusty metal fixings - proud nail heads and points - sharp ends. Old blue stencilled letters to 2 sides, (not the same to each side) including ' Made in India, Gross Weight, Package no, Felixstowe'. Very weathered, possibly marine weathering? Grubby and evidence of burning to inner. Collected items must have been pre-paid by cleared Paypal, or by cash (£s) on collection. Cheques or postal orders will not be accepted for collected items. Items paid for but not collected, will be held for 2 months and then re-sold. No refund will be given to the original buyer. Unless otherwise stated, collection is from Northampton NN4, (close to M1 junctions 15 & 15A). Postage The postage quoted is for UK delivery only and will include an allowance for packing. I am happy to combine items wherever possible, to reduce postage cost. Items are generally but not exclusively, sent by MyHermes courier. Courier delivery is NOT available to some postcodes including IM, HS, JE and ZE. Larger and very small items are generally sent by Royal Mail or Parcelforce. MyHermes parcels can be tracked, and proof of postage for Royal Mail are always obtained and filed. If your item is urgent, or you require insurance or tracking please let me know before purchase and I will advise options and add the cost of upgrading to the invoice. As feedback testifies, items are packed really well. Items will have been packed in the condition that they appear in the listing. All listing photographs are retained as proof of condition. eBay Global Shipping The postage quoted for overseas delivery is set by eBay and its courier partners. I have no involvement in the price that they set or no knowledge of what the amount is. Other carriers In some circumstances I can arrange man and van delivery of larger items to London, Lincoln, the Midlands and the South for an agreed cash on delivery price. I do not arrange man and van courier service for other areas. I am happy to work with the buyer if they wish to arrange and pay for a courier of their own choice to collect items from Northampton NN4. We are unable to pack larger items.
