Description: Vintage Hand Made Crazy Quilt This quilt is constructed of 30 square or rectangular slightly irregular blocks in crazy quilt patterns with multicolor featherstitch embroidery on most but not all of the seams. There is a pink border that measures about 1.25” to about 1.5”, and the backing is the same pink fabric with a center seam. There are yellow stitches at about foot intervals tacking the two sides together. There isn’t any batting or filling. It measures about 56” x 66”. I believe that most of the fabrics are cotton. It’s possible that the solid red and bright green fabrics are blends but I am not certain. The patterns look to be from the 1950’s and 1960’s and the colors are vibrant. There is some wear on the corners and edges of the pink fabric, a few very small holes right on the fold of the pink border next to the center seam. The main patchwork parts of the quilt are in very good shape without holes or fraying. There are a few breaks in the featherstitch embroidery, but most is intact. Pre-owned vintage crazy quilt in very nice condition, with some wear on edges as noted above. The fabrics have great patterns and the colors are bright. Please see photos for details.
