Description: This is a complete, fully handmade/carved folding chess set that was made in Poland in the early 1970’s by an unknown artist. The board is sturdy and in good condition but does have some scuffs, marks and scratches as it has been used countless times over the decades. The pieces are much larger than most sets normally seen but they have a good feel/weight to them. They are also in good condition but some have some minor damage like one of the black knights ears are broken off the horse (likely from the set being transported as the pieces aren’t held in place when the board is closed and are able to move around freely). Each piece also has green felt glued to the bottoms of their bases. This set will be carefully packaged and can be shipped anywhere within Canada and the US with tracking.
